Photographer - where to start???

Postby futuremrsK » Tue Sep 27, 2011 8:38 pm

We are in the stages of trying to source a photographer for the big day next September, trouble is we don't have clue where to start!!! The church and family home is in Dublin and the reception is in Kildare. We are just randomly looking at photographers on Google but would love some feedback/recommendations on photographers preferably ones that wont blow the bank!!! :o

Just dont know where to start or what to expect :(

I can recommend Rachel Fox www.rachelfoxphotography.com and Peter Joseph www.peterjosephpictures.com

My sister had Rachel and I am having Peter. Both are just fab & have a lovely natural style. Local to your area as well. Check out their websites & their FB pages and see what you think.

Good luck with whoever you get.

my sister got married in celbridge and used andreas lynch (www.atl-photography.com) for her wedding and the album they got is only gorgeus. i'm going to use him as well, their prices seem very good.

hey,
i'd like to give my opinion if i can. me and Mrnitzel saw 7 photographers, 7 before we decided on the one we wanted. i think who you get a good feeling from. you'll know the one when you meet them. the one we went with was a recommendation from one of his friends and when we met him he was just lovely. nothing was a problem. when you are meetin with them, ask exactly what you are getting for your money. be careful about the "Rights" to your pictures. see if you can get an "engagement shoot" with your package. that will be fun, and it will also get you comfortable in front of the camera.

hope this helps.
