Hi Disney, Im wonndering could you do me a poem for the unity candle,for a rememberance candle(just a general one dont want to mention names, it will be for loved ones of both our families) and a little poem to read out in the chruch when the remberence candle is being lit.

Ok so this is what I was thinking;

Poem for candle:

This candle represents all those
that have passed away.
All the special people
who are not here today.

Then this poem can be read out:

We have lost many people,
that we've loved throughout the years,
For them we have shed, so many tears. 

If we could have just one moment,
It would be this.
This is one of those moments
we wish they didn't have to miss.

Instead we light this candle,
the flame reminds us that they're here,
Although we cannot see them ,
we feel their presence near. 

Sorry but I've had a busy weekend, so only getting back to you now!

Just decide on the type of poem:

•for h2b on morning of wedding
•for mass booklet
•prayer of faithful
•your speech
Etc.....

Then PM me your details... The more details I have the more personal it will be

Hi All

I came across this thread a few weeks ago and pm'd Disney for a special personal poem. She has such a way with words and I knew she'd be able to capture what I wanted to say much better than I could.

Anyway I just got my poem today and I was totally bawling reading it!!! It's perfect, exactly what I wanted.

Disney you are a truly gifted and generous person to give of your time to the rest of us here and still be able to plan your own wedding! Like someone said previously, you should set up a website or write a book...something to make a living out of your amazing gift!
