Well, we did our pre marriage course last night and today and it was actually really enjoyable! We only did it from 8pm till 9.15pm last night and got out at 3.30 today did it with accord and the two people doing it were really good and put everyone at ease. We also got free candles

So off now for dinner to relax

Yay for you Glee26! Haven't even looked into that yet but have heard mixed reports. Some people say it's a lovely time for the couple and others say it's just something you have to grin and bear.
Did ye have to talk about your relationship or what happened? Great that it's done anyway

yea, I had heard mixed reports too so didnt really know what to expect. You do talk about your relationship but only to each other. You get work sheets on topics and fill then out seperatly(sp) as a couple then talk about your answers. You also get paired up with another couple to discuss scenarios. There was also no priest at it! I did think that we would have a priest talking about religion but the guy just spoke a bit about the religious side of things.
And I did learn from it - learnt that when trying for a baby, men cant wear tight pants or have hot baths as balls have to be kept cool

Ha ha,its not bad pairing with the other couples- hope I didn't scare you! I hate things like that but everyone is nervous anyway and the things you do with the others is talk about a scenario for few mins and someone in the grou p will speak( I didn't speak ha)you will be grand

good to hear the course didnt wreck your heads, we're hoping to do our in the new year....not bothered by it either way, thinking of going to Esker in Galway, night away for us, so why not...gets great reviews..i think if you go with a very negative attitute, then you wont be open to hear anything...i'm no holy sope at all just think it wount harm you doing it, you always hear people that have gone, usualy get sometihing out of it...
