Ladies I went to see a possible venue today (fell in LOVE! ) BUT its WAY over budget

I was just wondering for your cocktail receiption, 4 course dinner with a glass of wine, bows, dance floor how much is it costing you with venue?

If i go with ours its going to be 10k but it includes photographer, bridal flowers, car, cake, rooms for me n parents, bar ext, dj, like EVERYTHING even a choice on menu, bar a band!

I was hoping to pay 8 max for recepition I suppose for something along those lines, as dress & bm dress, grooms & groomsmen suits have to be brought & rings,

It depends on how many guests you are having at your reception, but judging by that, you are getting an awful lot of things included in your price that are quite expensive. The photographer, cake and car would easily set you back about €2000 anyway. I am paying €50 per person, so €7500 for 150 guests. I get the meal, chair covers, room decoration, rooms for us and parents and bar extension included. On top of my price I have easily run up another €3500 on the things that you have listed as extras. So if you have a lot of people, then I think you are getting a great deal. Weddings are WAY more expensive than people originally assume.

its for 70 adults and 30 kids, those wedding shows have me ruined oh wants the same bargins as on the tv as were going same place! :-\

that sounds way over the top for 103 guests and 12 children,we got all that bar the bridal flowers for jus over 5000.

its Dublin and by the sea have to say its my dream wedding but if we can't afford it we can't, afford:-(
