Quick one- is anyone of you showing your dress to your future mother in law or siters or friends before the day.

I personally am going to just show my mum and sisters (all brdesmaids) and let the rest have a surprise!!!!!!

I suppose its down to personal choice- I have too many sister in laws to choose one over the other

Only my mam and one of my sisters (and you lot!) have seen my dress, and thats how I intend to keep it!

Only 2 people have seen me in my dress - the bridal shop lady and a friend from work. My parents have seen a photo of that moment. My bridesmaids have seen a photo of the sample dress I tried on (I wasn't in it at the time), so not even the real dress. I'm excited about my dress and want to show people, but I realize that I'll only spoil it for myself if I do show it too much. It's hard!

So far my mum, sister and best friend (BM's) and an aunt who was over from Oz at the time have seen the dress. I'm gonna offer my FMIL to come to a dress fitting if she wants as she's such a dote but i'll leave it up to her. That's all I intend to show it to that know my. I will show the hairdresser it for styles but thats ok. It's so hard keeping something huge like that from h2b!

My mum, my three bridesmaids and my SIL oh and her daughter but I don't mind that. No wait showed my friend too but she's also my photographer and I got all excited and couldn't help myself but that's it. Unless I get excited again or drunk but with only under 4 months to go I should be able to keep quiet.......or will I.

I have shown a picture of the dress to two of my friends, my mum, dad, sister and MIL have seen the real thing! I have shown a picture of the dress to a good few at work who aren't coming to the wedding, just couldn't keep it in!

i havent got my dress yet but wen i do il show it to my 3 bm's, my mam n my h2bs mam...i cant wait but unfortunately ive ages to go yet gonna find it hard not to show h2b though....he usually picks all my clothes haha (i should point out thats not in a controlling way i just hate shoppin n he has better taste than me!)

Hi girls. wow its so nice I am not the only one who finds it hard to keep it to themselves LOL. I am not showing mother in law to be as i want it to be a surprise. gosh its so exciting and you are right thngs nearly slip dont they!!!!

My mam and SIL (bro's wife and CBM) have seen my dress. And my other BM. Didn't bother showing Ms. Stroppy Pants BM LOL

For everybody else they see it when I enter the church. My h2b's sisters were not happy but I've never known a bride to show her dress to anybody other than her mother, sisters or BM's. When my brother got married my sil didn't show my mam and they're quite close.

oh good Tanta, i thought i was the only one not showing my mother in law or sister in law (my husbands sister). i also think i could not show one and not the other and I dont trust them to tell each other. i think i would find it hard to keep to myself too. thanks girls

My bridesmaids (two best friends) and my mother will be the only ones to see it. I'm not showing my fiancé's relatives as I know they won't like it and hassle me to change it, I want an ankle length 50's style dress and I know his mother would be in a heap because it's not floor length with a big long train.

My mam, my daughter, and my chief bridesmaid have all seen me in the dress, and i'm going to show my other bm whenever she gets a chance to visit me! I have it at my parents house, as it was a sample i bought on sale, so i've tried it on a few times and my dad might have seen me but didn;t take much notice!
Other than that I've shown another close friend in work a pic from internet, and shown my FMIL the same pic (don;t think she liked it much!!)
I wouldn't be able to keep it a secret, even keeping it to that many i'm finding hard!

My mum , sister(CBM) and one bridesmaid have seen the dress on me in the shop. My other 2 bms havent yet. Also my 2 best friends have seen the picture on the designers web page and thats all !!
