I am looking for entrance songs for my bridesmaids and groomsmen coming into the recpetion room?
Something up beat and cheerful.

Can I just say that I've never seen this done at a wedding? I've read about it on here, and I mentioned it to my venue, and they said it can be done, but they've had anybody do it either

Judging my Mrs2be though, and some other websites, it is done, I've just never seen it done. I know the best man or the hotel manager always announce the bride and groom into the room as the Bride & Groom the new Mr. & Mrs. XXXXXXX........but I'm 100% I've never seen the bridal party announced into the room.

This is a great idea and have seen it done at a few of weddings (two of which were in the same venue which had the same songs so presume it was something the venue laid on for B&G as part of their wedding package - the other one the Couple chose their own songs) For the life of me can't remember their entrance songs though but think the B&G was Black eyed peas - "I gotta a feelin" but something that just comes to mind for the bridesmaids is "Here come the girls" haven't a clue who sings it think it is on a boots TV advert and for the lads what about something like intro to thunderstruck or Seven nation Army by White stripes? hope this gets you thinking and of some help

Ive seen this at almost all weddings weve been at. Mostly each bridesmaid is introduced with the grooms man they are paired up with and they walk in togther before B&G. One wedding i was at was where all the bridesmaids came in together to "here comes the girls" then the lads "the boys are back in town" cant remember the song the B&G came into tho.

I was only announced into the room all my bridal party were seated, reason being my venue wanted us to have a bit of "us" time before we went into the room which was awesome I really appreciated it. We were announced but we sorted out the entrance ourselves. We had huey lewis power of love but we edited the start and go straight to the chorus it was awesome. my sister actually had tony christie show me the way to amarillo very upbeat too

I'm thinking of having Beyonce song "Who run the world.. girls" songs for the girls to walk into and its raining men for the boys! not too sure about us and i've still to ask the bridesmaids and groomsmen if they'll do it but if they will thats what i came up with!
