Stamps

Postby gigglebiz » Wed Nov 09, 2011 11:50 am

I saw on the top of this website a few days ago An Post advertising their wedding stamps and thought they were fabulous so I went and ordered them. They arrived this morning and I think they're great. Can't wait to put them on my invites - will be posting them in the next two weeks!! Can't believe we're at this stage already.

Anyway just said I'd let ye know in case anybody was thinking of getting them - they're worth it (I think so anyway :D )

I try to get 2 packs of 10 wedding stamps, every Friday when I get paid, most post offices have them and it spreads the cost.

Hey girls, these are available in all Post offices also if someone wanted to get them rather than ordering online!

The post offices don't usually stock a huge amount of them so you may need to order them online if you need a large amount. Also, if you like any of the older styles, the GPO may still have some old stock.

I love getting a wedding invitation with the wedding stamps! This year's one is gorgeous. I don't think the birds one from last year was as popular as the rings edition before that.

:iagree
If you want to get the wedding stamps don't leave it to the last minute or assume your local post office will have them. I wanted them for my save the date cards. The post office, which is the biggest in the county, said they do not stock them and recommended 2 smaller post office almost an hour's drive away that would have them! I got ordinary stamps instead but will order the wedding ones on-line for the invitations.
