I was at a wedding where there was one - the oasis was a GIANT round ball. all the ferrero roches were stuck on with cocktail sticks - i.e. the cocktail sticks were stuck on the oasis first, then the sweets stuck on the sticks.

The oasis was not on a tree, just a big round ball on a table.

Get oasis from any flower shop...get a sturdy stick and out it through the oasis and then stick in a bucket of sand/clay/cemetn etc and decorate the bucket with you rcolours/ribbons, use cocktail sticks to stick them in!!

Wow....They're brilliant.Fair play. I'm seroiusly considering making my own. I got a price of €120 per tree but i can't imagine its that expensive to do them yourself. I just don't no when to start them, i don't wanna leave myself stressed getting them done the week of the wedding, yet i can't do them too early cuz of the choclate melting....Oh what to do :?

I helped a friend of mine make them for her wedding... One piece of advise I would give...use good cocktail sticks. If they're cheapy cheap, they'll snap when you put them into the oasis ball thingy.
