2013 Brides
Re: 2013 Brides
We've booked the Lakeside Hotel in Killaloe, Co Clare, it's really lovely.
I actually think it's going to fly in girls, my sister is getting married next Aug so with planning the two I think it'll be here in no time!
I've my eye on a Jenny Packham dress for a while, waiting for it to come in to Sharon Hoey in Jan... really hope it looks as good on me as I imagine it, heart is set on it

hi sadlier, i had two deaths in my family, a month apart. my gran and my aunt. my gran was expected. she was 92 but my aunt wasn't and hit very hard. had seen her at grans funeral and she got to meet my h2b and she had tried on my ring but i'm devasted she won't be there on my big day.
just have to get through it i guess. ya at the min the day does seems miles away but as i said once jan hits it will seem nearer for us all.

H2b would be very impressed he is english with irish ancestors and is big into his irish i can just about keep up!! Looking in to having some irish in the ceremony but not sure where to fit it in! We are getting married here in dublin as h2bs family will be travelling and ive got quite a bit of family abroad so logistically easier. Have a gorgeous venue in north county dublin right on the beach!!

I lost my dad 2 years ago and dread not having him on there on the day but am doing some really nice things in his memory on the day. Have got a beautiful locket which i am going to put his picture on and pin to my bouqet! Also having some of his favourite music in the ceremony and the reception. If ya ever need to talk hon just shout pm or whatever x

well i can help you there. where you could put it in (what i'm doing is) having the second reading in irish (getting my mum to do that), have a prayer of the faithful in irish, (h2b's SIL is doing that) saying the Aur Father in Irish. ( that's very tradtional). was said both and my gran and aunt's funerals. if you need the words to it let me know and ill send it on. there's just a few idea's for you. i'm going a bit more in detail hopefully as it's a big part of me. hoping ot say my vows also in Irish.

Re: 2013 Brides
I have started them yet, but I think I want gatefold ones. I'm thinking something very simple with lace embellishments but I kind of want them to match the dress so waiting til I make a definite decision.
I have found this website to be the cheapest for the invites so far http://www.weddingcrafter.co.uk/categor ... owers.html
Would like to get started in the new year as I think they'll take some time and I want to spread it out, maybe do it watching tv in the evenings or something
