Hi all, been ages since I was on here!! Have all the big things done ages, but have now sorted bm dresses, ordering them online so just waiting to get the girls measurements, and will order them before the end of April
Doing pre-marraige course at the end of hte month, looking forward to it as alot of people say they learn something from it so going in with an open mind.
Have also bought my jewery, started making my invites, booked my cake, sorted package deal with hotel, started massbooklet and also readings and music choices.

Still hyming and haaing about hen, but think I know what Im going to do and where Im going to go if I go for it!

Cant believe how fast the time is going!!!

Thanks Lorr01, i got it sorted, h2b and I put our heads together and worded it nicely. People coming to the 7pm reception will get a special family invite. So excited. Finally sorted the bridesmaid dresses. Ordering them thursday,just waiting on measurements from two of my bridesmaids (2 of them live abroad).

Finding it hard getting bridesmaid dresses sorted but we just got started on our church paperwork! We're getting married in Lanzarote so registering us over there but needed to get our church paperwork sorted over here. I was all confused because contacted a priest from our original parish just over a month ago and he said we couldnt do anything until we hit the six month mark, could relax etc.
Then hit the six month mark and contacted priest of our new parish as have been living here nearly 3 years and he's like oooh we better get a move on, we dont have much time!
I can tell thats its going to wreck my head!

Have decideded on hen though, bunch of us heading up to Dublin for the concert in Phoenix Park with Calvin Harris as absolutely love him and went to a gig of his before, it was the best night out ever so cant wait!

I got a white wicker basket ( got a bath set in the basket for Xmas so used the basket) and I'm putting 20 pairs of mixed sizes of flip flops into it and will leave it in the bathroom for female guest to wear when the feet get sore!!
Bought the flip flops in penny's last year €1 per pair black and navy ones. They are in in penny's now do check that out.

For my other bathroom basket I have:

Put fume testers I had lying around!
Mints
Chewing gum

Panty liners
Tampons
Hair combs
Hair clips
Safety pins
Tissues
Hand cream
Clear nail varnish
Couple pair shiny tights
Sewing kit
Cotton buds
Party feet
Hand wipes
Nail files
Plasters
Headache pills ( bridesmaid will hold)
I have a poem card in it to
Can't remember anything else
Got some them in the grocery shopping each week and it all built up then!

The bathroom baskets are brilliant, Ive been to a couple of weddings with them and they can be a lifesaver!! Painkillers and tights seem to disappear very quickly though! lol`
The flipflops are great too... a friend had them at hers and everyone was able to dance the night away!![

Do you mean socks to put in the bathroom baskets? as i bought socks groom, bestman, pageboy, groomsman, dad of bride, dad of groom socks personalised! for the big day!!

You can get the personalised socks on eBay - just search for groom/ bestman socks. I got them delivered for £2.50 which they €6 upwards here!! So about half price. I googled poems to put in the bathroom basket I will send you an email if you send me on your address as I don't think my pm works on this site! Have notification of intent done thank god since last week so I'm on a go slow now as nothing more I can do till near the 6 month mark then il contact priest and get his side sorted.
