Hi all, been ages since I was on here!! Have all the big things done ages, but have now sorted bm dresses, ordering them online so just waiting to get the girls measurements, and will order them before the end of April
Doing pre-marraige course at the end of hte month, looking forward to it as alot of people say they learn something from it so going in with an open mind.
Have also bought my jewery, started making my invites, booked my cake, sorted package deal with hotel, started massbooklet and also readings and music choices.

Still hyming and haaing about hen, but think I know what Im going to do and where Im going to go if I go for it!

Cant believe how fast the time is going!!!

You can get the personalised socks on eBay - just search for groom/ bestman socks. I got them delivered for £2.50 which they €6 upwards here!! So about half price. I googled poems to put in the bathroom basket I will send you an email if you send me on your address as I don't think my pm works on this site! Have notification of intent done thank god since last week so I'm on a go slow now as nothing more I can do till near the 6 month mark then il contact priest and get his side sorted.
Wuzzles- did you try Tracy bridal in Galway she has a great selection of bridesmaid dresses or maybe debenams.

I still can't figure out how to start a topic so putting it here.

SO I'M AN IDIOT!!!!!! I posted the first of our invites on Friday to people that would be travelling (USA, England, France) but without thinking only put a 55c stamp on them. Today my ther half said that that wasnt nearly enough???? Will they get there. I'm freaking out

Hey hun, did u put a return address on them?? You might be lucky with the ones going to the UK, but others wont get sent..

the english ones arrived as did the french. the return address is on the inside with the rsvps going to email an post to find out for sure what happens. So upset. I dont have any full invites left and they'll cost a fortune to run more off because it would only be a small amount!!!

That's awful OP maybe buy a packet of invites from a shop and send them to the USA with a note of what happened and they won't mind. At least the uk and France ones sent.
