Re: wedding date change
I can't offer you much advise but I just wanted to offer some support - I have loads to do as well so I have to say that 6 months is plenty of time
You'll get there and it will be great day. Hugs and good luck

Re: wedding date change
I had six months to arrange mine and its a lot but you can do it!! Major thing is just getting your dress ordered as the shop assistant nearly laughed at me when I told them I was getting married - they can rush order them in if necessary so dont listen to them! Apart form that everything else is easy to do within 6 months and I dont know about others, I found it all the more enjoyable working to a deadline rather than having a year or so to wait, to keep looking at things and never know whether it would be too early to book them! With 6 months, you just look at things and then get to make the decision, tick it off the list and move on and I love that!!! Anyway god better get back to it cause still loads of little things to do and less than 2 weeks left!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAGGGGHHH - time does fly really!

Re: wedding date change
We did the exact same thing but we had 9 months! I think it makes it SO exciting!!! And don't mind everybody else being super organised, ou'll still be fine. Rope in friends as well, a couple of my friends are out of work so they're helping me big time, making the invitations etc. It works out well as thats their wedding gift to us, so we're all happy!
I had planned on buying my wedding dress online but actually found one in a sample sale for a great price. However my friend got her wedding dress online, it was perfect and so reasonably priced she bought 2 of them! I ordered my BM dresses online, they're due to arrive this week and I am praying they'll be ok. Although everybody on this forum who has ordered online seems to have been happy with them.
Happy Planning!!! Its so much fun!!! x x

Re: wedding date change
Six months will be plenty if you get cracking now. We had eight months, engaged last August and getting married first weekend in May. It is loads of time, I could have done it in less and almost everything done now and still 12 weeks left. Then again, I'm not into DIY invitations etc. I ordered invitations and thank you cards on Amazon, less than £100 for the lot and they arrived in less than a week.
Re the dresses on line, I'm sure most sites have details of delivery times or you can contact them to check. And Bluefish's bride to be got her dress from Light in the Box and was delighted with it. But if its just the time pressure that has you thinking about buying on line, you still have time to get one from a bridal shop if you choose it soon and they put a rush on it. I ordered mine in September and it arrived in January.
