How did you meet??

Sorry if there's already a topic on this but I'm curious!

How did you meet your other halves?

We met at my 25th birthday party, which just happened to be at my house! My friend's boyfriend bought him and we hit it off having never met before.
The party theme was a 'P' party, so everyone came dressed as something beginning with P - I had a better figure back then and was brave enough to wear a playboy bunny outfit, although it took a bit of booze before I was game enough to venture downstairs!

He came dressed as a policeman (debatable, it was a pathetic attempt!)

First date was at an outdoor ice rink when we discovered he cant skate - i'm sure that was a pulling ploy!
5 years later, having lived together for 4 years , we have a hairy baby (dog!) we're tying the knot next year!

We met at a local night club.He was friends with a guy i worked with and we were introduced that night and 13 years later here we are!! He lived 2 minutes from my family home and had never set eyes on him before that night!!

We met my sisters 21st - he was her friends housemate - I had been warned by my Mam not to let anyone on the trampoline in the back garden - we got chatting & somehow he led me astray & convinced me to let him on the trampoline

everytime people ask me how we met, it can't be really explained. we knew of each other as he was a friend of a guy i was seeing on and off for a few years. the night i found out i got into college i saw him looking down at me and my other friend niamh from his balcony and he said "hi the two niamh's". i was fairly blown over.

we didn't meet again till a few weeks later when i was brought out to be cheered up (over another guy that broke my heart) by his mate that i was seeing on and off. he came out with us and another friend of theirs. we got chatting in the pub and went back to his place and ended up staying awake the whole night talking till he had to go to work at 8 in the morning.

i was lucky i got to get a few hours kip. him the poor guy had to do a 12 hour shift:( but as they say and the rest is history........

We met in a tiny town in Co Clare almost 12 years ago when my little sis (who was only 10 at the time!!) went down to him and his friends and said "Hey you with the hair (he had that awful "curtain" hairstyle going on at the time!), will you shift my sister???" I was 14, he was 16. We're together since!

I met my H2B at work! I was a nurse, he was a student... He had a girlfriend from the town I'm from so we were purely platonic and then one day, 2 and a half years ago, he texted and said he left her for me, a week later we met up and that's that!

best way to be!!! we are constantly having tiffs, we are one of those couples who adore each other with everything they have but are always giving out to each other

we met in college, we were in a student society together. Saw each other at all of the events and eventually we kissed, 4 years on..
