Hi Sligo bride no you definitly dont HAVE to have a theme I just really want one to tie everything together was thinking of doing a stripe and spots theme but not sure yet!!

Its more of an american thing really!!

I went to a wedding last week and it really gave me the kick up the bum i needed. Since we are all under the year count the pressure starts building

I now have my band sorted, my wedding favours ordered waiting for them to arrive next week, i also ordered paper lanterns to put around the gardens at night time as i saw this at a wedding and it added a lovely romantic touch. I'm just finalising a few details for my wedding dress and i hope to be able to order it some time this week. We also picked out our wedding bands and our jeweller is great. We just have to put a deposit on them and he will order them as we want and then we can just pay off on them every month which is a great help

Starting to get excited about it all now

Hi emilymurf, i was herecomesthebride but changed username, so im may 10th aswell, just in case u forgot me lol. was at my bros wedding last week and its all seeming so real now, and of course its under the year now so im starting to look more seriously at the dress!! im going with my sisters my mam and friend on sat to try one my fave so far. its more to just show them coz im pretty sure its the one.. can you believe its under a year now??! :crazynut

The past three months have whizzed passed, i cant get my head around it... sounds like your well on your way now, its so much fun. have to say that im actually quite enjoying it all... so far so good anyway. lol btw where did you get the paper lanterns from and do they light up themselves?? i was thinking of doing them aswell!! xx

I'm May 4th too :clapper

So far we have the church, hotel and photographer. Next is band which is proving pretty tricky. We have been engaged since Xmas but only getting organized now because we live abroad. Starting to panic now have we left ourselves enough time :crazy

Ah you will be grand it will all fall into place the best thing to do with band is ask people who they would recommend then email a list of the bands see who is in your price range and go see them :yeah

Just checking in to see how are ye all getting on with the preparations? We are down to seven months now so i'm sure we are all mad busy still trying to get everything organised.... I can't wait until we are nearer the time for the real excitement to get going

woohoo the clock is really ticking down now. ive ordered my dress and weve picked our rings recently. were going to the wedding fair in citywest so hoping to sort out a few thing there too. cannot believe how fast time is going. once xmas is over it will be full steam ahead.... sososososo excited..

Hi Girls,
I have just seen your tickers and as I'm getting married in May as well, it has just dawned on me how few months are left!
Can you tell me where you ordered the paper lanterns please? My sister saw them at a party on the continent and we have been looking for some ever since.
Hope your planning is going well. I'm starting to enjoy it and have decided to try and stop stressing about it. We'll see how long that lasts!!!:-)
