Registrar?

Take a deep breath! Theres nothing to be worried about....We had our meeting today & it was so simple...in & out in 10mins.
All she did was take all our paperwork....Make sure you have it all & the photocopies!
Then she input the details into the system...made us check to make sure it was all correct...took our money & we signed some forms!
Didnt ask us any questions that didnt relate to the forms & nothing about our reasons for marrying or anything....she did call us little lovebirds though as H2B had his hand on my leg the whole time! :D

But it was simple...just paperwork, nothing more! So there is no need for you to be worrying at all pet....get a good nights sleep & be on time for your appointment!

Good luck....its very exciting to have it done!

Our appt is on July 19. We mailed all of our paperwork and got approved. We have to meet on the 19th (the wedding is the 22) to get a marriage license and go through our ceremony I guess. The fee was 201E. I guess that's the registrar fee for officiating at the ceremony??

Do they come to the rehearsal as well?

I rang to get an appointment and they said i have time to get one - was starting to panic - i just need to sort out first the name of the priest that is marrying us as we want a different priest than the church priest - and then will ring back and make appointment

I asked him about the birth cert as i have lost mine and he said they can print one out for me there
