I need your help in purchasing wedding favors! Can anybody help me out? I have very little time left and I'm looking for inexpensive ones.

I think its more important that your guests are there to share the day with you than anything.. Any thing after that is a bonus but wouldnt expect big cash presents... God ya dont know what people do be thinking though do ya??? I hope people are not thinking this !

I have gotten many invites with cash gift only. I didnt find it harsh. I always give cash anyway especially most couples already have there own home before wedding. I'm not putting it on my own invites, If I was to choose money from guest and not for them to attend or attend and no gift/money. I would choose the guest to attend everytime. So expensive to go to a wedding. My sister got married this year. I gave her 500 euro and While booking into hotel and drinks. I was totally broke, plus I was saving for one day for months. Couldn't even go on any holiday this year. poor me. It was a lovely day though.

That is so rude asking for a specific amount

If we get cash gifts - great - will help pay off mortgage

Hope we don't get too much stuff for the house cause it is done now

But whatever we get i'll be happy

I think the best thing to do is. except nothing and if we get anything it will be a bonus. People except so much from people now adays. they are always going to be disappointed.
