Price of hiring Wedding Cars?

Price of hiring Wedding Cars?

Unread postby bride2be2011 » Wed Sep 30, 2009 11:54 am

What seems to be the average price for hiring wedding cars? What kind of car is everyone having for yourself and h2b and what about bridesmaid/groomsmen? Thinking of having a limo for them all for after chapel and let bridesmaids go to the chapel in it and let groomsmen get down with h2b in family cars!!!!! Going to have Beauford for ourselves (black & white)
We are also going to have a car with our parents in it, thats the plan anyway but some of the prices are crazy money and I live only 2 mins from chapel and reception is approx 20mins away (going to get photos at location on way to reception, weather permitted of course!!) Not looking for return journey as we wil be staying overnight!!

Has anybody got any quotes? ;)

475 for the car and 300 for the limo was the best price that I could get :D

Still looking do, going to work them off each other :D

Seems like the price should be the other way around, sounds cheap for the limo! What kind of car are you having? For the Beauford cheapest I can get is €390 and for the limo €450, for the Chrsysler Limo its €545. Prefer them but dont wanna pay alot on transport at all. Hotel are giving us the option of borrowing 2 cars of them so maybe thinking about using them for our parents! Haven't seen them yet but think its a Merc s should be alright... see nearer the time.

h2b is taking care of this - wel he has until xmass to find a car that his happy with and if not i will take over  and i will just ring up places and ask for the cheapest opetion(that looks good) as im not big into cars at all.

we're just having one for us. we're only having one best man and bridemaids and i know my sis will wanna go with her family and the best man can get a lift with one of h2b other brothers(there enough of them there! ) my mom will be going with my bother and after the church my dad will be going with them too, dont know what h2b parents will do - prob drive themselves as this is what was done when h2b brother got married last yr.

Sounds like a plan then so! Must look into this more carefully but want to get band, photographer & videographer sorted first and will be happy then. Going on hols soon which is costing alot of money that we could of done with (we just deciced to plan our wedding about 6 weeks ago and booked the hol in Jan, madness I know that now but still cant wait to get away for 2 weeks) Doubtful if we will get these things sorted before Xmas, want to go around a few places to listen to bands and see photographers work too. Will be looking forward to dress shopping but haven't a clue what Im after. You buy yours yet?

im getting married in march so less than six months to go now  haha.
i have my dress already. its extremely plain and looks different on me than in the pic obviously and the train was longer too. but its da vinci style number 8251
if you type it into google you'll get loads of pics of it. but its much more fitted on me than the model. i put it on and instantly knew it was the one. i felt like a size 12 (even though im a 16)

Its absolutley beautiful, you will look& feel a million dollars in it. Its simple yet stunning. Would like that kinda style but dunno so undecided thinking maybe too of a drop waist, dunno so think I'll maybe just wait until I go dress shopping! Love the Maggie Sottero & San Patrick range but still havent seen anything that tells me wow!!
March!!! not long to go, you must be getting very excited... Will be looking forward to your report!!! :)

smurf to be you're getting great price for car, you have far to travel (house to chapel to reception???)
Think I'm getting ripped off at €390, havent booked anything yet but thats the cheapest quote so far and think I've checked out alot.

I'm still debating the car thing!!! Had found a videographer we want but not sure if we'll fork out on a car!! Orginally we we were doing the marks and spencer cake but after finding a lovely one so we'll be paying extra for that!!
Cheapest quote we got was 350 euro for three trips!! the extra costs with cake and honeymoon I am beginning to wonder if its worth it!! My dad has a fairly good car and it could be cheaper to pay for a valet-get some flowers in the back and buy some car ribbon!! Ivory for us and hunter green or pinks for others!!
