Hi Nearly married

I'm Sept 2012 bride and I just want to say thanks for much for posting your question. I thought I was a bit nuts doing everything now .
So far i've organised the church, hotel, band, dj, photographer, videographer, flowers, suits, pew decorations and my dress. The deposits have been paid on most of them so now its just focussing on saving.

The reason I've (i should say we ...ahem.) done so much is because we didn't have a clue how much anything would cost and at least this way we're got our budget and know how much we need to save in the next 18 mths.
Its so much fun though, finding everything we need and haggling - I've become addicted to it now hehehe.

Hi girlies, Im a summer 2012 bride too...So far Ive the dress, church, venue, church singer, bridesmaids dresses and car organised thought I was really organised but a lot of u have soo much more done than me!! Really really excited now loving every min of it

Hey girls . Summer 2012 aswell we have hotel church band photographer booked . Premarriage course is done! Invites and mass booklets are sorted. I ve few bits and pieces bought and are in storage like church candles and cake topper . Roll on 2012 cant wait !!!

I am a sep 2012 bride and cant believe how much you have all done. Im only going to look at a venue in 3 weeks... i thought if I started booking everything people would think i was mad but now i cant wait to start

OMG! you guys have so much done I thought I was organised!
we have the venue, photographer, videographer, cake(cupcakes, fsil) dj and band.
Going to look at churches at the end of this month - were getting married in different county.

Same as meee!! we've only the church and hotel sorted!!!
We're getting married 1 june 2012...
But been looking at dresses online and picked out my BM dresses too.. But ive nothing bought or anything.. i feel like its too soon to doing most things!!
We've kinda worked out a budget, thanks to idealweddings.ie (downloadable budget thingy!! Very useful!! )

Its all very exciting tho!!

I'm another summer 2012 bride. Getting married on 4th August. So far we have booked- church, priest, hotel, band, D.J., flowers, ceremony music, have sourced invitations, hair and make up booked, dress picked, cake sourced, cars sourced, favours sourced, photographer. Still a bit left to do but not much. The cost is coming in around the €26,000 mark as we are having a large wedding and that is why I'm booking early as I need to know how much I have to save. Went hell for leather in the first month or two of being engaged but going at a leisurely pace now.

@mrsstokes2be thats the same day im getting married (bank holiday weekend) , i have venue, band,florist , hair, wedding dress sorted, meeting photographer tomorrow, but ive also prices and setting up meetings them aswell, know who i want for make up, church singer, plenty of time still for the rest but i like to have everything sorted and price accounted for ..
