A few tips for the day
Hi Missies,
I thought I share some things I would have loved to know beforehand, they might be of help to you!
As we left straight after for our Honeymoon, we had to wait ages to see pictures and just now they only trickle in.
I must say I did tell my friends not to post any of us on Facebook, Husband doesn't like himself in pictures and we want some control over it. But I wished I would have given my Camera to one friend or so and told them to just keep snapping and give me the camera before we left!
As the weather was a bit wet we went back inside the church for the couple pictures and I really enjoyed that time with my new husband. Same for the drive to the Venue! (on a different note, make sure your driver knows hoe to get from A to B)
So even if you dont drive somewhere maybe arrange with whoever is taking your Pictures to take you away for Couple shots. It was brilliant to just go through how we felt and all! By the time we reached the Venue and had the Official Photos taken with Family and all it was nearly time for Dinner.
We decided against having a Videographer, mainly money and we though we might not like the look of ourself but just for the ceremony I must admitt i would have loved one!
Not for the Party and all but for the service! My one regret!
I went from Table to Table after the Main course, there was a pause till Dessert was served just to have a real quick chat with everyone, and I am soooo glad I did because afterwards with dancing and all and before with Photos you wont have time. And at least I know I spoke to everyone.
Some people are still a bit miffed because they think I didn't spent enough time but at least I know I made the effort and they saw me a bit!
You cant do it right for everyone!!!!!
Instead of having a list where we wrote presents down we wrote what we got straight on the back of the Cards. You not likely to loose the Cards and always know whenever yu take them out in the years to come what you got!!!
Thats all I can think of, I hope it helps!
And I hope evryone has as great a Day as we had!
Oh it rained and was wet but I didn't even noticed! So dont worry about that!
