Does anyone have any wording to put into the order of ceremony for the Unity candle Ceremony - we are having acivil ceremony but want to keep this piece in.

Does anyone have any wording to put into the order of ceremony for the Unity candle Ceremony - we are having acivil ceremony but want to keep this piece in.

I did a mass booklet but it only contains, readings, gospel, vows,prayers of the faithful and any musical interludes. I just wrote after the entrance piece of music
Lighting of the Candles
Tanya and Max each light a candle symbolizing their arrival here today as single individuals. Later in the ceremony they will light a single candle as a sign of their union of marriage.

ok i am getting freeked out what is this ceremony coz we r havin a civil ceremony but i didnt kno we had to do this bit plez explain thanx.i love these little men there r millions of dem ere on this website this one is on another site to the 2 beers one

Mysterious you dont have to do it but you can if you want I think its a nice touch.

It very simple really - just google unity candles and you'll see what they look like.
Its 3 candles - the bride and groom light a candle each when they first arrive to signify they are individuals and then light one together when they are married to signify they are married!

You totally don't have to do it but I think its nice - think I have a mild addiction to candles though!!
