Upbeat song for end of ceremony?

Hey again everybody.

What ar ye all having as the song for the end of the ceremony? I'm looking for something really upbeat and catchy right from the start of the song.

Hi, I only met with our wedding singer last week. We've decided on Oh Happy Days from Sister Act, cause we also wanted something upbeat.

hiya engadedny, thats a great tune! We're having a civil ceremony though so nothing religious allowed. Sorry, I should have said that in my post above.

We're having all you need is love, The Beatles, played by a string quartet. We did ask for the Beach Boys good vibrations but they can't do it.

I have asked our singer (girl wiht a guitar) to do a version of Bob Marlay Is this love - words are great and its really upbeat!! Hopefully she can pull it off!!!

We're having You Raise Me Up. Our celebrant would be a little unhappy with non religious songs, but we both really like this one and it has meaning for us.

My brother had Israel Kamakawiwoʻole Somewhere Over the Rainbow which was lovely, or what about LOVE by Nat King Cole, not sure how upbeat ya want to go, but the sentiment in these are lovely, Love is in the Air by John Paul Young is a gr8 tune aswell :bounce

does it matter what time of the year it is, getting married 28th dec, should we be picking something in particurlar, i know its up to us, but what are your thoughts??

We decided last night that we're gonna go with I'm a believer by the monkees :) Happy to have that sorted now!

december 2012 I don't think the time of year matters - go with something that you like and that means something to you.

Actually i told a lie! We are having higher and higher walking into the reception room. We are having somewhere over the rainbow at the end of the ceremony - the version by The Blanks from Scrubs, its a cool version!
