I asked my hotel about vat reduction and i am less than pleased iwth the response i got, i was told that they have recently put the costs up so if we want a new quote the new prices will be reflected in it therefore cancelling out any thing we might have got back as a result of the vat reduction.
does this sound fair or right, anyone else come up against this?

Hold on though, did you already agree on a price? If so they can't put up their costs unless strictly stipulated in the contract and even at that it's a push. Did you sign anything with them yet?

Hi tell them you do not want to review your package you just want to pay the correct rate of vat on the package that you agreed. its as simple as that. (this gets me angry)

that is very poor service. Get back on o them and like the other missies said tell them you want to keep the package you have all you want is the lower vat rate that you are entitled to.
