yaeh 'taint' was what i said when i just got home from it all, am busy with other stuff now as you can imagine but trying not to think about it cos when i do my blood just boils

You could do what my fil did, he bought a new phone and when he took it out of the box it wouldn't work, brought it back the next day and they said they wouldn't give him a new one it had to be sent for repair, sent it for repair, it came back the same, went back into the shop (they all agreed it was broken) but still no he had to wait for it to be repaired again, so basically he bought a phone that never worked and he was being arsed around for weeks, the shop fella refused to co-operate so fil said fine no problem, he stood outside the shop and ever so politely warned all potential customers, after 3 walked away he got his money back and a new phone for him to leave
