hi guys, im just wondering does anyone know fo any wedding fairs comming up in mayo? i know im asking a bit late, because iv seen a load of them on in the last 3 months. but only starting to plan stuff now also is there a place on this site that lists all the upcomming fairs? thanks

Living in Mayo and recently I did see a sign for a Wedding fair some place but for the life of me can't remember where!! Sorry but will keep an eye out and get back to you on it when i see it again....also I know it's not in mayo but just a stones throw away in Sligo Town the Sligo Park Hotel and Leisure Club have their annual wedding fair on Sunday 15th January 2012 from 2pm to 6pm so that could be worth a look as it is beside Mayo I am sure there would be some cross over with services and suppliers. I've just did a quick google as I knew "Forever" was in the title on that sign i saw and have found that the largest Wedding Fair in the West of Ireland "Forever Wedding & Honeymoon Fair" is taking place in the Royal Theatre & Events Centre Castlebar (aka the TF - across the road from the hospital) and is on the 4th (3-9pm) and 5th(12-6) of February 2012 just read it their on the Royal's website - also see Dara O'Briain is back - and sounds good lots of exhibitors and catwalk shows etc so another one there for you to book into your diary hehehe Have fun! (We may even take a look ourselves at this one - some last minute inspiration and they showcase honeymoons as well which we have not even looked into yet)

thanks a million no date set but just want to go to a fair and see what offers they do and just get a feel for it i forgot about the one in the tf, saw it there and for some reason i thought it said the 4 and 5 of jan....hahaha!

Yeah there's that one in the TF next weekend, Forever Wedding and Honeymoon Fair at the Royal Theatre and Event Centre in Castlebar, February 4th and 5th. There is one on in Breaffy House on this sunday, January 29th as well. Also Wedding Fair at Hotel Ballina in Mayo, 19th of February 2012. Sorry might be the same as the others have said and also a bit short notice.

Hi there,

There are plenty of wedding fairs to choose from in Mayo in the next couple of weeks.
On Sunday next, 29th January, Breaffy House Hotel are holding their wedding fair between 1pm and 6pm. The following weekend there is a large wedding extravaganza (The Roayal Wedding) in the Travellers Friend Hotel in Castlebar organised by Confetti magazine, which will run for two days - Saturday 4th Febraury and Sunday 5th February. On Sunday 19th Febraury the Downhill Hotel in Ballina are holding theirs and on Sunday 26th there is a fair in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel in Belmullet. All details are on the various hotels websites and facebook pages. I myself have been invited to attend a couple of the various wedding fairs that are taking place, so I will be delighted to meet and greet any couples on the days in question. If anyone wishes to discuss any aspect of their ceremony music I will be on hand to assist them in their choice of music and songs.

thanks so much guys for all yer help, we have not set a date yet or anything, but it would be nice to go and have a look and see where we can save money so i think meslf and himslf are heading to the forever wedding fair at the weeknd! thanks again!
