Im also getting married in Galway and did lots of research into cheapish flowers (no fresh flowers are cheap )

So here are some options i found:

Macs Flowers http://www.macsflowers.com/wedding_flowers.html based in Clare but do travel packages from €250

and finally the one i chose http://www.mayoweddingflorists.com/ Jackie is fantastic to deal with and depending on what you want their prices can be really good!

I am going with Margaret in Madden's florists in Galway. I am not sure how they rate cost wise but she is brilliant and goes above and beyond what she should. She did both of my sisters weddings and the flowers were amazing. My mum has been dealing with the flowers cuz I don't have a clue about them and she has told me it won't cost more than €400 which is fine by me. I am getting 8 button holes, one alter arrangement for the candles, my bouquet, 2 bridesmaid bouquets and ribbons or something at the end of the pews. I am going for Orchids as they are the most reliable flower for December!!

Fiona 1345 I'm going to maddens tomorrow for a chat but our budget is €250- €300 max as I'm not a lover of flowers and don't want to spend to much on them when they will wither in 2 days- sorry now!!!!!! I'm also going to quote silk flowers as they will last forever and I can put the bouquets on relations grave as that's my intention.
