wedding invite wording

Postby caroline_A2 » Fri Oct 14, 2011 12:34 pm

hey ladies

im getting my invites made and im wondering whose name should be first the brides or the grooms. were not puttin on it that were inviting them were leaving the line for the guests name and then saying you are invited to the wedding of groom and bride is the way i have it now but can change it if its supposed to be the other way around.
some say it doesnt matter and some are saying it should be the brides.
any help would be greatly appriciated

thanks

:bluewave I don't think there is any right or wrong way nowadays of name placement but I think the norm is Bride's name first and then the groom - I designed our invites and when I was typesetting it I just automatically put my B2B's name first.
