Mallow wrote:You should contact your photographer lala hun, my brother is a photographer and I know that when he gets booking for churches/hotels he was never worked a wedding at before he drives out to both to see what shots he thinks would be good and checks out the outdoor and indoor options so he can talk the bride and groom through all the options before the day, so I assume all photographers, or any decent ones do this??? I've seen him take pics in some super funky indoor places, not just church and hotel, when it was raining that I would never think of, photographer have an eye for pics most people would never have. Drop him/her an email and see if they have any ideas :)

This really is good advice, any photographer worth their salt will have their homework done in this regard, the last thing you want is for your photographer to be "winging it" on the day. this can detract from the over all relaxed vibe of your day. Ideally your photographer will have met you at the venue well in advance of your big day so they should know the ground, remember preparation is everything ... if you're Wedding day is sunny then your elected, if it's wet, you're prepared ... just a thought....

Best of luck

I think you could get some amazing pics in the rain if your photographer is creative enough! There's loads you can do with a few props like umbrellas and boots or wellies!
