My hotel put aside a room for us to use, they are a posh old hotel and i think its the library that they are giving us. Though I think we will get umbrellas and have outdoor photos.

They will be deffinitely be taken inside, it's going to be a long day after the cermony I dont want to have a big frizz ball on top of my head and wet bridesmaids aren't a good look!!!! The hotel has a nice foyer piano, stairs etc. so will use that if we have to. Hopefully it won't rain though :fingerscrossed

Im thinking on having umbrellas - will really just have to make the call on the day though, mines is an October wedding and ive accepted that it will probably rain, as long as it isnt lashing out of the heavens id say I will go with my outside photos, if not, out chruch will be lovely for photos and im sure I'll get ones somewhere else aswell and then I have our hotel aswell for pictures!!!

That reminds me, must look out for ivory, or maybe clear brollies or if any of the missies have them and want to sell them on I'd be glad to take them off your hands

You should contact your photographer lala hun, my brother is a photographer and I know that when he gets booking for churches/hotels he was never worked a wedding at before he drives out to both to see what shots he thinks would be good and checks out the outdoor and indoor options so he can talk the bride and groom through all the options before the day, so I assume all photographers, or any decent ones do this??? I've seen him take pics in some super funky indoor places, not just church and hotel, when it was raining that I would never think of, photographer have an eye for pics most people would never have. Drop him/her an email and see if they have any ideas :)

It rained the day of our wedding. We got some nice ones outside our houses before the church. Also, we got a few in the wedding car. I got group photo's taken inside the hotel on a nice staircase and a few at old fireplaces, that type of thing. We also took a few outside with brollies, "kissing in the rain" and in between showers with ourselves and bridal party, so we got a good mix. Google wedding rain pictures and there are some very romantic ones...you'll nearly be wishing for rain!! :)

Maybe visit the hotel with and pick out areas in the hotel which would look nice in a photo, your photographer will prob have all this research done anyway, I saw some pictures taken inside the hotel we are going to and they are just fab, we will prob end up taking more pics inside now than outside regardless of the weather!!

I got some really quirky umbrellas in awear, red with dots and blue with dots... i got them because I know most photographers can make pics black and white but keep bits in color, so I thought it would look quirky... It didnt rain in the end but I think the best thing to do is to not stress about it, its totally outa ur hands!! easier said than done I know.

I'm getting married in december and the weather is all ive stressed about since we booked it! i've another 16 months to go so i may get over it and stop stressing or just change the wedding date! Plus it'll probably rain, snow and be a hurricane on my wedding day just to annoy me!
