James bond/star wars theme

hi all
im a newbie but have been reading through the forums the last few weeks and have got some great ideas from you all,,,so now i need your help,my H2B is big into movies,in particular james bond and star wars...so as a surprise i want to incorporate either one into our wedding reception...so far have been thinking of the james bond theme-cake toppers in that style...any of you got any other suggestions,would be greatful for your ideas,thanks...sue

Maybe ye could enter the dinner to the imperialarch from star wars! Or the theme tune! And use glow sticks : maybe use tape or paper to wrap on one end to make them look like light sabres. And scatter them on the tables! Will look cool at night ESP on the dance floor. Also fairy lights for stars!! Name some cocktails after characters!!

Make sure the cocktails are shaken not stirred You could name the tables after characters and have a picture of the character on the table so people find them. Check out startroopers.ie, I was looking for alternative entertainment this morning and saw somebody recommended that website. They dress up and serve drinks n stuff, looks good it you're into star wars etc

Love these ideas,thanks so much we are having meal and afters in two different rooms so just wondering with the entrance music would this be when we are entering for where the meal is? Also with glow sticks for light sabers..how long do they glow for once opened out of the pack,if i had to add handles etc before hand? Thanks guys

the light stick ya have to snap them to light so if you get somebody to go into room before ya enter and get them to snap them they usually last a couple of hours -get a child to do this they will enjoy doing it and it means they get to be included in the duties of the day also if your going with james bond look at franc diy bride from last week to see how to do the bond suit with your napkins
