Hi Sinead!

Yea i ended up getting lots of info, we're getting married in Dubrovnik in August 2013 :clapper
Theres another irish wedding forum website that has lots of croatian brides-the thread is over 80 pages long and thats what got me started on working it all out.
We hadnt been to Croatia either but we went over at the end of March and i'm so glad we did. its absolutley beautiful, really clean, easy to get around, the old town is amazing, i've never been in a walled city before so was a brilliant experience !!
We're working with a wedding planner which makes things alot easier.
I dont really know what you're looking for so if you have any questions just ask away and i'll see if i can help-what kind of wedding are you looking for, why are you thinking of Dubrovnik?

Hi, have been in contact with a wedding planner also and we are hoping to get out there this summer. We are planning on getting married July 2013. We decided on Dubrovnik because we knew we wanted to get married outside of Ireland but no where else that we were looking at excited us until we saw Dubrovnik. So excited now, we will be having a small wedding of 30-40 people. Have you made any bookings yet ?

Yea we were the same, wanted to get married outside Ireland and knew we wanted somewhere a bit different. we also looked at Malta for a while which is cheaper but didnt have the kind of venues that we had in mind.
What wedding planner are you using?
We have the ceremony and reception venue booked, and the photographer. think they're the main things!
We'll be going over again next March/April for a couple of days to do menu tasting, meet florist, and confirm numbers.
It all feels ages away!

I've been in contact with kristina from dubrovnik luxury weddings, have just seen good reviews about her. Who are you using ?? i'd be keen to try other planners before i decide for definate on one. so exciting ... cant wait to get over there and see it for ourselves, we have 2 kids and there will be other kids in the party too so i need to know if its child friendly also. :smitten

We were in contact with Kristina too but decided to go with Ines from Dubrovnik Events. They both have great reviews but Ines i think got in contact quicker and gave us more options. we met her and her husband in March and really liked them both.
i think their price quotes are quite similiar, it depends what kind of ceremony you're going for.
There will only be about 7-8 kids at our wedding, all under age 8. again, depends what/where your wedding plan is but Ines told us they have a babysitting service etc.
Being in contact with the planners and getting the ball rolling is all so exciting, makes it seem so real!!
