Of course I dont mind.... Ours is costing €1000 for their planning fee. I did look at Ann & her resturant. My friend got married in her place 3 years ago. it was lovely -she is very good & we have a great day. I wanted to some where differnet & we love the marina where Amura is. Is Ann arranging a band for you? Are you planning a pre or post wedding party?

We are thinking of a few drinks the day before -we really like the Dubliner so they are seeing if they can get that for us. Then the day after we want another get together. What do you think the temperature will be like in April/May time? Have you sorted hair and make up yet? We got quote for 600 euros for me & 3 bridesmaids???

Hi All

I just looked at that website - weddings lanzarote.com and what puts me off going any further is they never tell you the price. Loads of websites do it not just for weddings abroad. Can anyone tell me (ballpark) how much a head to have your wedding in Lanzarote in a hotel or restaurant?

Thanks girls

Hi,

Just joined up!I'm engaged nearly a year and we are just starting off to try plan our wedding :D
I'm hoping to get some information about weddings in Lanzarote, planning on 2011, don't really know where to start!!! :? I've been on most of the websites and Ann Leneghan's seems to jump out at me the most. Can anyone tell me if they are planning to get married over there and if she is their planner??

Thanks

Ev :D

We're hopin for May 2011, far enough away. I emailed Ann last week and just got an automated reply back saying if it was urgent to ring them so I don't know what to do now cos I wouldn't really class it as urgent but then again not sure as they could be booked up to 2012 for all I know :? , everyone seems to be going away 2 get married!!
I would be happy if we had around 40 -60 going cos at least you know you wont have all the nosey relations turning up just to see what went on  Your time will fly. Have you booked Ann's restaurant as well? It looks class in the pics and I know a girl who got married there last month and they said everything was just perfect they didn't have to worry about a thing, just turn up. HAve you picked a dress yet? :D

Yeah well I'm the same once the families and a few close friends are there, thats all that matters:D
Yeah I went looking at dresses last week just to get an idea of what I want, tried on about 10 dresses and fell in love with the very first and last one I tried on! Couldn't believe it, thought I'd have to try on about 100 before I seen somthing I liked, nearly afraid now to go look at other ones  It's still very early so wouldn't want to be getting something now and then changing my mind in 6 months time :dizzy
Are you having many bridesmaids? Does ann bein contact with you much seen as you only have 7 months to go?

I was sent an itemised costing of everything from May, fantastic for a ball park and the lanzaroteweddingplanning.com website is getting an on line catalaogue soon which will be even beta. They offer a budget costing to suit you and a mix n match so as not to overspend ..
