I cant wait either! Its so exciting. Ann Leneghan is organising the wedding for us, who are you using? We are having the ceremony and the reception at Timanfaya Palace in Playa Blanca. Where abouts are you having yours?

NowaMrs, I know the thought of the sun definitely shining on your wedding day is brilliant you dont have to really worry about the weather. Where did you get married? We are having ours in Playa Blanca.

We are using ann too. She is amazing and so helpful. We are having our receptionin Los playa jameos. We originally wanted ann'a leneghans but it's closed for refurbishment sonour bookin was transferred across. it looks amazing in the pictures.

Welcome to d site. We're getting married on the 7th April this year, having our cermony and reception in the Iberostar in Costa Calero and we're with Ann Leneghan too. I hope you have a brilliant time planning it hun and if you av any questions d girls on ere are great, feel free to PM me anytime.

we are just starting to plan our wedding in Lanzorote for Sept 2012 dont even know where to start!! I've been in contact with Ann Leneghan & shes sent us all the info but theres so much to take in!!!!!
We have a very small wedding party of 20-25 can anyone recommend any reception venues?!! Also is it true they dont confirm your date until just a few months before the wedding?? and you cant pick the church they pick it for you???
We are planning on having our own priest marry us does anyone know if this is possible?? Sorry for all the questions!!:-)

Thanks nowamrs, we have r date booked now for sept 2012 so excited!!! we went with Lanzorote weddings in the end, Ann just wasnt getting back to us at all she was suppose to email us a quote over 4weeks ago & emailed her to see what was happening & she said she'd send it on first thing the next day but never did so we decided to go with lanzorote weddings they are very good & really helpful they couldnt do enuf for us we're meeting with the team next month when we go over for a holiday

We're going with Lanzarote weddings as well. Peta and Vicky have been dealing with us.
We're getting married the 11th Oct this year in the Hesperia Hotel in Puerto Calero... they take wedding parties from 20+. We are havinmng 26-28 people to ours.
I have heard of weddings to envy, a couple of people on this site are using them as far as i know.

I just got my dress last Wed... so excited now! It was my first day looking at dresses and I found the one I wanted so went for it!
I think around 25 is jst a nice number... small and intimate without being too quiet if you know what I mean

Thats great u found your dress so quickly! I hope I find the dress i want so easily!! Did u get a lighter material dress or did u just pick the one u wanted? Theres so many dresses i love but im afraid they'll be to heavy with the heat so I don't know what to do!!
Did u go over to see the venue or are u just waiting til the wedding? Yea 25 is a perfect amount & you just have who u want there without having to invite people u dont really want to!!
Are u having a band or a dj? Im in two minds whether to just have the ceremony & a meal then the reception when we get home or to have a band over there too!!! I suppose theres loads of time to decide tho!!

Girl i got my dress in Feb i would say avoid boned dresses loads of material ya will jus sweat. My dress is silk no layers so light ya wouldnt even no ya had it on.
