Hi girls, I was wondering if any of you know anything about what the make-up artists are like and if the hairdressers are ok Its different when you are getting married in Ireland, you can take time to build a relationship with these people but when your getting married abroad it's different. If any of you could provide me with names etc id be delighted so I can start researching my options Also, photographers and Cake makers. I have heard of Sugar Daddys, and didnt like the look of their cakes they looked really sloppy There seems to be a good few photographers on the island but I would love to hear your recommendations etc. Thanks Missies

Thanks sweety, i should have known to ask you!! i am really nervous that i wont like the way they want to do my hair or make-up and they wont know what I am talking about.. there will be about 8 of us for hair and make-up that morning

NowaMrs, do you know do they come to your appartment/hotel to do your make up, nails, hair etc or do you have to go to them? Would love not to have to leave my place on the morning of the wedding and have them come to me! Will have my mother and bm's with me so it would be lovely to be all able to stay in our dressing gowns with our glass of champagne while we're getting ready! Or maybe I'm just being lazy!!

Yea i will go over for a few days well before the big day with the bm's to do trials id say, And there is no WAY im going anywhere that morning the hairdressers can come to us. Theres too many of us and we are having a garden villa in the Gran Melia so we have loads of room for everyone.. the wedding planner can sort that out I might hit the spa that morning for a massage and get a few bits and bobs done then meet the family for breakfast, h2b is having a big family breakfast with his family, few glasses of fizz and off I go

I'm back from lanzarote 2 weeks,we went to book our wedding in gran melia!
