Hi Maz
i contacted the aftershock wedding party through facebook. just look for the haypenny in, click like and leave a message, the lady got back onto me and sorted it out there and then. we have to go and meet her the day we arrive to get flyers for our guests but its that simple. if your not on facebook, let me know and i can contact her for you when we are over there in 2 weeks :)

Was at a wedding in lanzarote in the summer went to the aftershock party the day after must say it was great fun they do a bbq with plenty of food & it was good quality. They had a guy singing then a karaoke which gave you a score after the song so it was good sport. It's a nice pub has plenty of space to sit outside or inside. It's in the old town.

Did you look into the cinco plaza lanzarote it's great if there are a lot of kids.I stayed in plaza azul basic but nice & quite lovely pool.

nowamrs quick quetion for ya... well 3 actually :D . How did you bring your dress over. Rang ryan air this mornin and he said bring it in hand luggage or book it a seat. A seat for a dress is madness. He said if the dress is bigger that the diamater than a hand luggage bag i would have to book it a seat. I told him it wouldnt be, my dress is gonna be light. No big poofy 1.
Did you have to get a letter releasin you from the church? Were having a civil cermony here first and a blessing over. And did you have to do a marriage course?

Sorry bout all them questions, but we wanna book our flights soon, and ya man had the cheek to say have you your flights booked as your asking these questions. I felt like sayin well buddy youll be makin alot of money off my wedding, how dare you :ranting

Stary Em I can answer 2 of those questions for you, we're doing the civil stuff here first too, you don't need to get letters of freedom, you just have to do ur civil marriage here first and take your marriage cert with you when you're going to lanzarote for the wedding and you'd don't have to do a pre-marriage course, there isn't any obligation to do one, I think it's mostly a catholic church requirement.

That's ridiculous about Ryanair, typical of them though, always out to squeeze the last € outta u! I heard of a couple that went with aerlingus and the staff cudn't do enough to help them and there wasn't extra charges for dresses etc. the staff kept them up the front for them.
