we were all set to get married in a church in lanzarote on the 4th of june.....well up until last night that is, it turns out that we cant and we need to get married in a registry office over here and have a blessing over there. the reception is in the Yaiza but i realy dont want the ceromeny there and well im under pressure to ffind a lovely place for the blessing, Any one able to help pleeeeeease

All of the wedding planners on the island do non religious ceremonies in different locations, it might be worth contacting them. Im guessing from your post that you are organising everything yourself and not using a planner already so it might be worth your while contacting them if you are under pressure.

I know people having their blessing at the beach at the Hesperia but they are also having their reception there. Im sure there are plenty of locations and you'll find the perfect place dont worry!

if you contact ann leneghan from weddingslanzarote.com, Ann has done many blessings and will be able to organise everything for you. I organise the wedding aftershock party for the day after your wedding, which is a bbq for all your family and friends and its completely free all you pay for is what you drink, but i will tell you all about that again, lets try get your blessing organised first, i have to agree with wuzzles the most amazing place for the blessing is the private beach at the hesperia hotel puerto calero.
