Hi!

My SIL to be just got married in NYC there in June. (We got engaged there but kept it a secret so to not take from her special day - we told the world 3 weeks later!!)
So she got married in St. Malachy's Church - just off times square. It was a beautiful small church - there was about 70+ and the church was the perfect size. There was plenty of pews left if you wanted more but it was so pretty in there. She also had to get a marriage license. Google will help with this I'd say! She had an old 1950's NYC Yellow Cab as her wedding car and then after the ceromony herself, the groom and the bridal party went to times square and central park for photos.
After that then she had everyone go to the hotel she had chosen which was The New York Palace Hotel which was only a few blocks away. Fabulous!!! They had a cocktail hour for us while the bridal party was off doing the photos and then we were escorted into the dining room and sat down and they all made their grand entrance. It was fabulous. She had dinner and music and dancing. The band she had were fantastic and they were called McLean Avenue or something like that. I can highly recommend them! We danced the night away til things ended which was about midnight - they shut up shop in the hotel pretty quick. Then the after party was held in a irish pub just off times square again and I think things ended at around 4am! Fabulous Day!
The one thing she did say to me about organising the wedding in NYC - that she would have been lost without a website called The Knot. Google that and hopefully that will steer you in the right direction :)

Hope that helped somebit xx
