Hi Bonesy, I've only just got engaged.. and just thinking about it all... Summer 2013 seemd ages ago last weekend when we agreed it .. but not really when I start reading all of these sites.. Just wondering how you are getting on with looking at Sorento as a location.. is it working out expensive??? I was there a few years ago.. Picture Perfect.. I hope you have a wonderful time..

Hi there have set our date for June 2013 To be honest Sorrento isn't cheap we're having our reception in a villa so there's a fee for that before you include food and wine.Any questions you want to ask me work away

Can I ask you what company(s) did you go through to find and organise places and prices etc?

Can I also ask how many people you think you need to cater for.. what do they include and how much it's costing.. hmm cheeky questions.. feel free only to answer what ever suits you..

Hi I'm planning on not using a planner have spent alot of time researching and know a girl who got married there in October and she highly recommended the villa which is Villa Antiche Mura you should check out their website the manager will help you out with suppliers if needed,to hire exclusive use of villa for the day costs €2,500- €3,000
We could have around 70 people....maybe!!!

Wow that's brave.. not using a weddling planner abroad !.. I'm sure the references from your friend will be better than any planner though anyway!! I looked up the Villa - totally breath taking...
The views from there are totally amazing...

We are also planning on having a church wedding though - are you? I heard that only locals can get married in a church in Sorrento - and that you wold have to go to positano to get married in the church.. is that true?

Hi it defo helps to know someone who has got married there as she has filled me in on lots,the celebrant who will marry us will help with all the paperwork.Initally I was thinking of using a planner.Yeah only residents of Sorrento can have a church wedding we're having a civil ceremony in the Cloisters it's on the grounds of an old monastery...stunning!!!!
