wedding band in lanzarote??

Postby excited bride2be » Sat Feb 12, 2011 9:07 pm

Hi girls,
Just wanted to ask anyone else getting married in Lanzarote what evening entertainment are you having??
We are think of having of having Joy Council as our band after listening to a few of their songs from their website. We think we might actually use them for the full day... get them to play a few songs during the ceremony with just an acoustic guitar as we're not into the opratic sounding singers. Then have them play for an hour during the cocktail reception and then start properly as a band after the meal for 2 - 2 n half hours or so. But would love to hear if anyone had ever heard them in person or was planning on using them?
Or any other suggestions of bands to use over there welcome too!!

yeah €125 is craxy for 3/4 songs. We just emailed our planner today asking for a quote for our duo for the ceremony/drinks reception and evening entertainment. If it works out much dearer than just having them in the evening then we might be going with a cd as well. We're kinda hoping if we use the one singers for the whole lot it might save money... will wait to see what them come back with as a quote!
