Aideen Bodkin Autumn/Winter 13: Mother of the Bride Fashion

By  |

One thing we love about the winter months (freezing temperatures not included) is the rich and vibrant colour palettes that arrive with our favourite fashions.

Today we are talking mother of the bride wear. After seeing the bride and her maids, the mother of the bride outfit is the next big talking point at most weddings. Sorry grooms!

Irish designer Aideen Bodkin never fails to impress with her glorious designs, and her Autumn Winter 2013 collection is no different, highlighting tailoring in glamorous feminine styles with dresses forming the backbone of the range. Take a look at some of our favourites, featuring vintage detailed jackets, coats and dresses in a variety of shades including duck egg, silver, fuchsia, dark purple and red; stunning!

Beautiful clothes, would be much nicer to see on a woman who is actually “mother of the bride age” instead of a woman in her twenties…

  2. Patsey Brady says:

The best thing about Aideen Bodkin’s beautiful clothes are that they look as good on women in their twenties as they do on women of more mature years! This is the opinion of a woman in her fifties whose twenty five year old daughter “borrows” them on far too many occasions!!!!

I would have to agree, Patsey. I would love if my mam had a few of these in her wardrobe! 😉 Aoife
