Four Alternative Bridesmaids Trends for 2016

By  |

Yes! We’re storming through the end of the year, and today comes our first post on those all important trend predictions for 2016. First up, your lucky bridesmaids and four alternative ideas that maybe you’ll try out for them. We love each of these trends, thank goodness we’re not choosing!

  1. Jumpsuits: Yes, really the jumpsuit! Now this will not be totally easy to pull off, especially if your maids are a lot of different shapes because, hello, we know it’s hard work finding the right style for you! But, if you do the look will be mega-hot we can assure! Styles with fuller, flowy bottoms will work well and add extra chic-factor.

  2. Separates: Well if it’s good enough for the bride, it’s good enough for the maid too! This is a great idea if you like the mix and match style dresses of this past year but prefer to mix it up even more! How many times do you see a gorgeous skirt and think, yes that would look great – we say go for it for ultimate style points.

  3. Tulle skirts: Perfect for the bride who loves an extra touch of romance for her maids, tulle is feminine and floaty and works on so many dresses. For an classic look with an ethereal edge, tulle will be your friend in 2016.

  4. Floral: We *heart* the floral bridesmaid look, a lot! It can be girly or funky depending on the print and colour palette you choose and you can even mix it up with some plain dresses for a real stylish bridesmaid look.
