Lingerie for valentines day

5. Saving for a wedding can mean forgoing on a some of life’s little luxuries for a while, but I love the fact that some of this lush lingerie costs as little as  €3.50. You couldn’t go wrong!

4. Speaking of saving for a wedding, how about letting GoHop.ie sort your honeymoon out? The honeymoon experts are giving away a week-long Kenyan safari experience, including all transfers, to one lucky couple. I certainly wouldn’t say no to that!

3. I just love how Liane approached her wedding flowers, as she wanted them to look as if they had been just picked from the garden and I think she pulled off the look perfectly. Check out the rest of her Mount Juliet wedding to Senan, as captured by Michelle O’Sullivan Photography.

2.  After reading new stats about wedding insurance claims during 2013, I couldn’t believe how many brides suffered a theft on their wedding day. It’s a horrible thought, but make sure your venue has a safe that you can leave cards and cash gifts in. Opportunistic thieves will know that the bridal suite will be unoccupied for most of the night and that handbags will be hastily discarded once the dancing starts!

1. My favourite image from this week has to this floral wedding cake. The handpainted watercolour detail means it could be recreated to work with any wedding palette, while the real flowers used to decorate it give it that extra bit of style.
