Craddóg Irish Music Events will make that special day last the rest of your life!

Craddóg is available throughout the whole experience – from morning until evening, providing music for your ceremony, reception and evening band and modern interactive Ceilî and DJ.

At the ceremony (civil or traditional) the atmosphere is set for all guests arriving, with the haunting sound of a Celtic slow air or a familiar classical piece. Guests will be entertained until the bride arrives and throughout the ceremony to an upbeat jig and a large round of applause from the guests as the couples exit.

Everyone can relax, catch up and unwind during the drinks reception to our acoustic set of traditional tunes and nice background music to create a lovely warm atmosphere – setting everyone up for the night ahead!

The Evening set contains contemporary covers with our own unique slant from the 60’s right up to now with dance floor fillers from Elvis, Johnny Cash, Mumford & Sons /AC/DC/, Killers, Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison and many more… Bringing a completely different sound to the evening. Read some of our testimonials below to see how other couples got on! We guarantee to fill the floor with our dynamic and interactive set.

Craddóg uses external professional DJ services as part of their package to seamlessly run from the bands finish.

We had Craddòg play at our post-Wedding BBQ and they were the perfect choice. After the festivities of the previous day followed by a Christening the following afternoon we all just wanted a relaxed chill-out session. The guys are very flexible and can alter their setlist very readily depending on the atmosphere in the room. They were open to on the spot requests and did a really good job with all of the tunes. By the end of the night everyone was reinvigorated and back on the dance floor ! It was a really nice way to end our wedding festivities and I'd have no hesitation recommending these guys to liven up any event. Thanks lads !

Craddóg played at our wedding in July. They were absolutely superb. Half of our invitees were English and the Craddóg lads had every guest up dancing the Irish jigs and reels. It was so much banter! What followed the band was the band's DJ set, which was also amazing! The amount of compliments about the band we received were phenomenal... two thumbs up, 10 out of 10, five stars all around. Thank you for the most FUN wedding every lads!

Amazing guys and amazing band. Ciaran quickly replied to our first inquiry and the guys were so easy to work with in terms of arranging everything before the big day. They played an acoustic set in the bar the day after the wedding followed by a full gig and it was all our guests were talking about afterwards! Great banter during the performance got everyone into it and even did a little Ceili with everyone which was a great laugh. The performance was really top class with a great mix of contemporary and traditional songs, the guys were just really excellent and we couldn't recommend them more highly. A great bunch of guys with some serious talent, what more could you want?

We booked Craddog to cover all the music for our big day, from church to night-time in one package which was incredibly stress free. They were so versatile and played appropriate music for each part. The Church Music was beautiful, and complimented by all. The drinks reception music was relaxed, the perfect background as people arrived. The night music was lively and fun, they had the dancefloor rocking all night and the interactive dances and sing off's ensured everyone got on the floor. I would highly recommend the lads, Ciaran was easy to deal with and accomodating from start to finish.

I feel so privileged to have had Craddóg be a part of our wedding. From first contact to the day itself, each interaction was a pleasure. Craddóg provided the music for both the ceremony and the drinks reception, and they added something truly special to both. On the day itself you are in a bit of a blur, but I remember at one point during the ceremony wishing that we could just stop for a minute and enjoy the music! And in fact our solemner was so impressed that he did ask them to replay one piece and we all just sat still for a couple of minutes and listened! So many guests commented on the music...it set the perfect tone for the rest of the day. They moved seamlessly to our venue for the drinks reception and created the perfect atmosphere. I know that it can be difficult to trust reviews of strangers...but from the heart, these guys are fantastic!

Tony and I organised our Wedding from Australia and booked Craddog for the full day, a decision which was made in part, from reading a lot of the reviews which are 100% brilliant. Everything went smoothly from their responsiveness to emails to being really accommodating with special requests prior to the day. On the day, they did a stellar job. I had goosebumps walking down the aisle to Cannon in D. It was a moment I'll never forget. At the drinks reception my mother who has an interest in the accordion got to play a few tunes with the band and was delighted. They did a wonderful job later for the evening reception. Our 1st dance song, the Waterboys 'How long will I love you' has always been really special to us and Craddog did not disappoint. With so many overseas guests the ceili calling went down a storm. That being said, they have a big repertoire and mixed it up a bit with some more contemporary music to keep the evening flowing. It would be fair to say there were people who did not leave the floor all night, myself included, such was the craic! I would highly recommend Craddog to any couple with a taste for a bit of trad/folk. The service you will get is of the highest standard, the professionalism and caring attitude shown by Ciaran and the band is just outstanding and unfortunately, all too often in short supply. Both my husband and myself believe that our choice of music was one of the best wedding supplier decisions we made.

We planned our wedding in Dublin from Texas and so had to rely on the internet for a lot. We never met Craddog and simply discussed things via email (I'm sure we could have chatted on the phone if I had wanted to). I have to say that even before the wedding day Craddog had made booking, payment and planning incredibly easy. On the day they walked in after the speeches and were up and running in 5-10 minutes. Nice a fast turn around and so there was no lull in the atmosphere (obviously that's venue dependent) Their crowd interactions were fantastic and they got the bride and groom involved in the entertainment. Their blend of Ceile Dancing and Trad versions of modern songs was fantastic for our mixture of Irish and Americans at the wedding and their caller did a great job of getting everyone up and into the swing of it. I think every american was on the floor at the same time at one point. We got plenty of praise for our choice of band from both sides of the family. Thanks a million Craddog, you helped put the icing on the best day of our lives.

Hi We just wanted to say thank you for helping to make our day a fantastic one. The music in the church was so beautiful and our guests were raving about how good it was all day. The céilí in the evening was a big hit; everyone said they really enjoyed it and again were full of praise for the band and how good the music was. The bodhrán playing and sing off were great craic and really got everyone involved. It is safe to say that we were extremely happy with the music and entertainment provided by Craddóg on our wedding day and we will happily recommend you to others for their wedding celebrations. All the best.

We booked Craddog for our wedding reception – a small affair, with a mix of French and Irish, and a fair few language barriers. We were a bit nervous as to what music would match everyones’ taste, so figured a modern twist with a few ceili calls would be ideal. We’d read the recommendations online, listened to the tunes on their website and Facebook profile, and took the rest on faith. No review, individually or combined do them justice. They had a everyone, from all countries and age groups on the floor from the get-go but knew exactly when to wind it down a notch for a breather, then right back up again for hilarious group ceili dances, dance offs and so much more. We got the “where did you FIND these guys?!” question more than once. I can’t recommend them highly enough; they ticked all the boxes and then some! They‘re more than a band; they’re a complete entertainment package. Absolutely amazing, thanks a million Craddog – you made our day – no doubt about it.
